Is there anyway to disable the EA Origin Launcher as it is a totally useless and pointless feature anyway. However nothing seems to work and the result is the same every time the game begins to launch fine then freezes when the EA Origin Launcher login tries to pop up. I have looked online for a solution, fix or workaround but have found nothing that helps, I have tried running it in compatibility modes with other versions of Proton including the latest version (38) of Proton GE. It stays like this and does not progress in the launch. Unfortunately the game refuses to launch getting stuck at what I believe is the pop up window for EA Origin launcher log in, The screen goes black with a grey rectangle in the center I assume should be the EA Origin Launcher log in however it is just grey and blank. One of the very first games we both bought and downloaded was Dead Space 3 as it is one of our favourites and we enjoy playing together. I have recently bought Steam Decks for my son and me so we can game online together as we live apart and don't get to see each other as often as I'd like.
